Diagnosis
On June 12, 2024, shortly after Amara's 5th birthday, she was admitted to Children's National Hospital in DC and diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
Amara's Journey
She will be starting a new chemo medication, along with several others that she has already had. Rylaze again; which means trips back and forth every other day to Children's National in DC, for her six shots, every month for the next 4 months. There will also be times that she needs blood and platelet transfusions.
